Exercise of the week!

The psoas (iliopsoas) muscle attaches from the bodies of your lumbar spine, runs through your pelvis, and inserts onto your femurs.  This muscle helps you to bend at the waist and lift your leg.  When it's tight or imbalanced the psoas can pull unevenly on your spine and rotate or lock down your vertebra. Click here for a great psoas stretch from the exercise section of the website.
